Casino Chips Customization Guide — Design Your Perfect Chip Set on RiskQuest
Every serious casino player has their own style, and on RiskQuest that style starts with your chips. The Casino Chips system lets you fully customize the chips you use across all Riskable games — from the colors and gradients to the patterns and denominations. Whether you want a sleek obsidian set, a neon cyberpunk stack, or a classic red-green-blue layout, this guide walks you through everything.
How Casino Chips Work on RiskQuest
Casino chips are the betting tokens you use in Riskable games like Blackjack, Roulette, and Poker. Instead of typing in a bet amount, you click chips from your chip rack to place bets. Each chip has a denomination — the Riskcoin value it represents when placed on the table.
Default Chip Set
Every player starts with a default set of five chips:
- 1 RC — Grey chip for minimum bets and precise adjustments
- 5 RC — Red chip for small bets
- 25 RC — Green chip for medium bets
- 100 RC — Blue chip for larger wagers
- 500 RC — Purple chip for high-roller bets
These default chips work perfectly fine, but customization is where things get fun.
Customizing Your Chips
Visit the Casino Chips page to access the full chip customization studio. Here you can modify every aspect of your chips:
Colors
Choose from 15 base colors for your chips, including classic casino tones like red, green, and black, as well as more exotic options like teal, orange, and indigo. The color you pick becomes the primary fill of your chip face.
Gradients
Premium chip styling unlocks gradient options that blend two colors together for a more polished look. RiskQuest offers 20 gradient presets:
- Sunset — Red to gold, warm and bold
- Ocean — Deep teal to cyan, cool and clean
- Neon — Hot pink to purple, perfect for a cyberpunk aesthetic
- Gold — Classic gold to dark amber, the high-roller look
- Cyberpunk — Magenta to cyan, electric and eye-catching
- Obsidian — Near-black to dark grey, sleek and understated
- Royal — Deep purple to gold, fit for a king
- Toxic — Bright green to violet, impossible to miss
- Plus 12 more: Emerald, Ice, Fire, Midnight, Blood Moon, Lava, Aurora, Vaporwave, Inferno, Abyss, Plasma, and Electric
Patterns
Add a pattern overlay to your chips for extra texture and personality. Available patterns include:
- Stripes — Classic casino chip edge stripes
- Dots — Polka dot pattern across the chip face
- Stars — Star pattern for a patriotic or flashy look
- Crosshatch — Woven crosshatch texture
- Diamond — Diamond grid pattern
- Rings — Concentric ring design
- Zigzag — Angular zigzag lines
- Waves — Flowing wave pattern
- Scales — Fish scale texture for a unique look
Chip Groups
Chip groups let you create multiple complete chip sets and switch between them instantly. Maybe you want a classic red-green-blue set for Blackjack and a flashy neon set for Roulette nights. Create as many groups as you want and activate whichever one fits your mood.
Each group contains up to five chips with custom denominations, colors, gradients, and patterns. Your active group is the set that appears in your chip rack during gameplay.
Premium Chip Styling
Basic color customization is available to all players, but premium styling features — gradients and patterns — cost Riskcoins to unlock. The pricing is straightforward:
- 50 RC per individual chip — Unlock premium styling for a single chip
- 200 RC for a full set of 5 — Save 50 RC by upgrading an entire group at once
Premium credits are consumable — once you spend them, the styling is applied to that specific chip. You can always earn more Riskcoins through games, Quests, and daily rewards to fund your next chip design.
Tips for Great Chip Designs
- Use contrasting denominations. Make your 1 RC and 500 RC chips visually distinct so you never accidentally bet the wrong amount in the heat of the moment.
- Match your game. Create themed chip groups for different games. A dark, understated set suits Poker, while a flashy gradient set is perfect for Roulette.
- Start with a gradient, then add a pattern. Gradients provide the color foundation, and a subtle pattern on top adds depth without overwhelming the design.
- Keep high-value chips bold. Your 100 RC and 500 RC chips should stand out immediately. Use the Gold, Royal, or Blood Moon gradients to make them unmissable.
- Try the Obsidian set. The Obsidian gradient with no pattern creates an ultra-clean, minimal look that a lot of players love.
Using Chips in Games
Once your chips are customized, they appear automatically in any Riskable game that uses the chip rack. Click a chip to select it, then click the betting area to place your wager. Stack multiple chips to build up your bet. Your custom colors and patterns are visible to you throughout the game, making every hand and every spin feel uniquely yours.
The chip system works seamlessly across Blackjack, Roulette, and Poker. Your active chip group persists between sessions and across games, so you only need to set it up once.
