By accessing or using RiskQuest, you agree to all terms, rules, and disclaimers listed on this page. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. RiskQuest is built around a single principle: every risky activity you experience here — casino games, leveraged trading, sports betting, horse racing, prediction markets, and more — is stripped of its real-world consequences. You can risk everything and lose nothing.

RiskQuest is not a gambling platform. While certain games feature casino-style mechanics (such as Mines, Multiplayer Mines, Plinko, Wheel, Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Darts, Coin Flip, Crash, The Runway, World Quest, Mystery Cases, the Sportsbook, the Predictions Market, the Horse Racing track, and the Stock Market Simulator), all gameplay uses virtual currency (Riskcoins) only. No real money gambling, wagering, betting, or cash-out exists on this platform.

Riskcoins are virtual entertainment credits with no real-world monetary value. Purchasing Riskcoin packages with real money constitutes the purchase of entertainment credits only and does not constitute a financial instrument, investment, or store of value. RiskCoin purchases do not create any right to real-money returns, dividends, or payouts of any kind.

Virtual balances have no real-world value, cannot be withdrawn, exchanged, transferred outside the platform, or redeemed for real currency or items.

Riskcoins (RC) are virtual entertainment credits used within the RiskQuest platform. Riskcoins can be earned through gameplay, received via daily free claims (50 RC every 36 hours), awarded through quests and promotional/redemption codes, or purchased with real money.

Riskcoins are used for cosmetic skins, in-game abilities, peer-to-peer marketplace trading, and gameplay within RiskQuest games. All balances, winnings, losses, prizes, multipliers, and rewards displayed in RiskQuest are purely virtual and for entertainment purposes only.

Riskcoins have no real-world value whatsoever. RiskQuest makes no guarantee regarding balance accuracy, persistence, or availability. Balances may be reset, adjusted, or removed at any time without notice at RiskQuest's sole discretion.

RiskQuest offers the ability to purchase Riskcoin packages using real money via Stripe Embedded Checkout. Available packages include:
• Starter: 1,000 RC for $0.99
• Popular: 7,500 RC for $4.99
• Premium: 20,000 RC for $9.99
• Ultimate: 100,000 RC for $24.99

All purchases are one-time payments. RiskQuest does not offer subscriptions or recurring billing. Purchases are for virtual entertainment credits only and do not constitute the purchase of any tangible good, financial product, or redeemable asset.

RiskQuest does not store, process, or have access to your payment card information. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe. Purchase fulfillment is tracked in our database to prevent duplicate crediting.

All purchases of virtual currency (Riskcoins) are final and non-refundable. Once Riskcoins have been credited to your account, the transaction is considered complete.

Exceptions may be made at RiskQuest's sole discretion on a case-by-case basis (for example, in cases of verified technical errors during purchase).

Chargebacks and payment disputes: Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your payment provider without first contacting RiskQuest may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban. If you believe a purchase was made in error, please contact us at contact@riskquest.games before initiating a dispute.

There is no mechanism for withdrawing, converting, selling, or cashing out your virtual Riskcoin balance into real money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or any other form of real-world value under any circumstances.

Riskcoins exist solely within the RiskQuest platform. Any attempt to sell, trade, or exchange Riskcoins or RiskQuest accounts for real-world value outside of the platform is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

Outcomes in RiskQuest games are influenced by player decisions, probability, and game mechanics. There is no guarantee of winning, profit, or success.

Casino-style games (Mines, Plinko, Wheel, Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Darts, Coin Flip) use server-authoritative random number generation. These games are not provably fair. House edges and return-to-player (RTP) percentages vary by game and configuration. Any references to odds, multipliers, RTP percentages, or probabilities are estimates provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a guarantee of any particular outcome.

Multiplayer game outcomes depend on player skill, strategy, and real-time interaction with other players.

RiskQuest is designed solely for entertainment and recreational purposes. It should not be considered gambling, financial advice, investment, or an opportunity to earn real money. The platform's core promise is "Risk everything. Lose nothing." — every risky activity on RiskQuest is a simulation, with all real-world consequences stripped away.

The platform offers a wide variety of experiences, all intended exclusively for entertainment:
• Casino-style games: Mines, Multiplayer Mines, Plinko, Wheel, Blackjack, Roulette, Poker (multiplayer Texas Hold'em), Darts, Coin Flip
• Action games: Crash, The Runway, World Quest
• Mystery Cases: open virtual cases for cosmetic rewards using Riskcoins
• Stock Market Simulator: trade simulated crypto and stock instruments using live market data — with virtual currency only
• Sportsbook: place virtual wagers, including player props, on real-world sporting events using live odds — with virtual currency only
• Horse Racing: wager virtual currency on simulated horse races
• Predictions Market: a virtual prediction market where users speculate on outcomes using Riskcoins
• Casino Chips: a cosmetic chip-customization system
• In-Game Phone: a simulated mobile-phone interface featuring Banking, Messages, Calls, News Feed, Daily Reward, Quests, Friends, Leaderboard, RiskBot AI assistant, and game launchers
• Social features and a peer-to-peer marketplace

The RiskQuest Sportsbook allows users to place virtual wagers on real-world sporting events and player props using live odds aggregated from third-party sports data providers. All Sportsbook activity uses virtual Riskcoins only. RiskQuest is not a real-money sportsbook, is not licensed as a gambling operator in any jurisdiction, and offers no real-money payouts under any circumstances.

Live odds, scores, schedules, and player statistics are provided "as is" and may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. RiskQuest is not responsible for any virtual losses caused by data errors, delays, postponements, or cancellations of real-world events. The Sportsbook may be paused, modified, or discontinued at any time.

The Stock Market Simulator allows users to practice trading simulated stock and cryptocurrency instruments using live market data from third-party providers. Leveraged trading is supported as a gameplay mechanic. All positions, balances, gains, and losses are entirely virtual and denominated in Riskcoins.

The Stock Market Simulator is NOT financial advice. Nothing displayed in this feature constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any real-world security or cryptocurrency. RiskQuest is not a registered broker, dealer, or investment adviser. Users should consult a qualified financial professional before making any real-world investment decisions.

The Predictions Market allows users to speculate on outcomes of in-platform and real-world events using virtual Riskcoins. The Horse Racing feature allows users to wager virtual Riskcoins on simulated horse races. Both features are entirely virtual, use Riskcoins only, and do not constitute real-money gambling, prediction-market trading, or pari-mutuel betting in any jurisdiction.

RiskQuest includes a simulated In-Game Phone interface with multiple in-platform apps including Banking, Messages, Calls, News Feed, Daily Reward, Quests, Friends, Leaderboard, a Game launcher, and the RiskBot AI assistant. The Phone may also surface in-platform notifications.

RiskBot is an automated chat assistant intended for entertainment and informational purposes only. RiskBot's responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date and should not be relied upon for financial, legal, medical, or other professional advice. The Banking app and any in-Phone "balances" are virtual representations of your Riskcoin balance and have no real-world value.

RiskQuest is intended for users 13 years of age or older. By using the platform, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

Users under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use RiskQuest, including any real-money purchases. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their minor's use of the platform.

RiskQuest is not responsible for enforcing age verification beyond user self-declaration. RiskQuest is committed to compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

RiskQuest provides social features including a friend system, direct messaging, lobby chat, and lobby invites. Users may search for other users by username, send and receive friend requests, view real-time online status of friends, and communicate via text messages (500 character limit) and image sharing (1MB file size limit).

Users are solely responsible for the content of messages they send. The following is strictly prohibited:
• Harassment, bullying, or threats
• Hate speech or discriminatory language
• Sexually explicit or inappropriate content
• Spam, scams, or phishing attempts
• Sharing of personal information of others without consent

RiskQuest reserves the right to monitor and moderate all communications on the platform. Messages may be stored for safety and moderation purposes. Violations may result in warnings, temporary mutes, or permanent account bans at RiskQuest's sole discretion.

RiskQuest provides a peer-to-peer marketplace where users may list, buy, sell, and trade virtual cosmetic items (skins) for Riskcoins. The marketplace includes negotiation threads between buyers and sellers, and both parties must confirm before a trade is executed.

RiskQuest is not a party to any marketplace transaction. All trades are conducted between users. RiskQuest acts solely as a platform facilitator and assumes no responsibility for the outcome of any trade.

All marketplace trades are final. Disputes arising from trades are to be resolved between the involved users. RiskQuest is not liable for trade disputes, perceived unfair trades, or any losses incurred through marketplace activity. Only virtual cosmetic items may be traded. Trading of accounts, real money, or external goods through the marketplace is strictly prohibited.

RiskQuest offers multiplayer game modes including Mines Multiplayer (2-player turn-based with matched betting) and Poker (multiplayer Texas Hold'em tables). Lobbies may be configured as public, friends-only, or invite-only.

Fair play is required at all times. The following conduct is prohibited in multiplayer games:
• Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics
• Using bots, automation, or third-party tools
• Griefing, trolling, or intentionally ruining the experience for other players
• Intentional disconnection to avoid losses or unfavorable outcomes

Disconnection policy: If a player disconnects during a multiplayer match (whether intentionally or unintentionally), the match may be forfeited and any prize pool or wager may be awarded to the remaining opponent(s). RiskQuest is not responsible for disconnections caused by network issues, hardware failures, or other technical problems on the user's end.

Users agree not to:
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities in the platform
• Use cheats, bots, automation tools, or third-party software to gain unfair advantages
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users in any context
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
• Sell, trade, or transfer RiskQuest accounts to other individuals

Violators may be banned or have their accounts permanently suspended without prior notice. RiskQuest reserves the right to take any action it deems necessary to protect the integrity of the platform and the experience of its users.

All content, code, designs, graphics, logos, trademarks, game mechanics, sound effects, and branding associated with RiskQuest are the exclusive property of RiskQuest and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or use of any RiskQuest content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from RiskQuest.

RiskQuest and its developers, operators, and affiliates assume no liability for:
• Game losses or outcomes, whether in single-player or multiplayer modes
• Technical errors, bugs, glitches, or platform downtime
• User disputes or disagreements
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Payment processing issues handled by Stripe
• Marketplace trade disputes or outcomes
• Chat or messaging content sent by other users
• Any impact on your financial, mental, or emotional well-being

RiskQuest is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.

RiskQuest utilizes the following third-party services:
• Firebase (Google) — Authentication only
• MongoDB & Express — Backend database and API
• Socket.IO — Real-time multiplayer, chat, and presence
• Stripe Embedded Checkout — Payment processing
• Google Analytics 4 — Usage analytics and tracking
• Google AdSense — Advertising
• Live market data providers — Real-time crypto and stock prices for the Stock Market Simulator
• Live sports data providers — Odds, scores, and player statistics for the Sportsbook
• Google Fonts — Typography assets

Your use of RiskQuest is also subject to the terms of service and privacy policies of these third-party providers. RiskQuest is not responsible for the practices, policies, or actions of any third-party service.

RiskQuest is distributed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and may be installed to your device, pinned to the Microsoft Edge sidebar, or added as a system widget on supported platforms (such as the Windows 11 Widgets Board). Installation is optional and does not change your relationship with RiskQuest.

RiskQuest declares an age rating of 13+ via the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) framework. Age ratings are advisory and do not replace parental judgment.

RiskQuest reserves the right to update or modify this legal notice at any time without prior notice. Changes become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for updates.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.

Any disputes arising from or related to the use of RiskQuest shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. By using RiskQuest, you agree to waive your right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
